Michael, There are a few things to try: Please first try to launch the plugin directly (without Studio). Navigate to ..\Trnsys17\Studio\Plugin\Type194\ and double click on the file PV_REF_PARAMS.EXE. The plugin target (EES) should launch. If it doesn't please let me know. next try and double click on the file Type194.exe. This is the plugin itself and it should in turn launch the target (EES). If it doesn't please let me know. One other thing to try is to right-click on the executable: ..\Trnsys17\Studio\Exe\Studio.exe select "properties" from the context menu, switch to the "compatibility" tab and check the box marked "run this program in compatibility mode for" and then select "Windows XP from the drop down menu.
