Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type 1716b Rotary Desiccant Dehumidifier - Known Regeneration Temperature

Habiba Aly,

The regeneration air inlet temperature is the temperature at which regeneration air enters the dehumidifier before it is heated to its known regeneration temperature. The "regeneration temperature" input is the known regeneration temperature.

For future reference, clicking on the "more" button next to a parameter, input, or output can give you a bit more information about a particular value that the model either needs or computes.

kind regards,

 David

Hello Trnsys users,

What is the difference between regeneration air inlet temperature and regeneration temperature in type 1716b inputs. i have the dehumidifier coupled with heating coil and fan components so that air temperature at dehumidifier inlet is regeneration temperature, is that wrong? Does the humidifier component already have a heating element within? attached is my configuration picture.

Thank you,
Habiba Aly
