Re: [TRNSYS-users] PV array efficiency

Farah,

I see that you also copied your message to our techsupport hotline; could you please also send the project files over there?

Sometimes in the very early morning or very late afternoon the definition for the efficiency makes two very small numbers divided by each other result in an unrealistically high value. With efficiencies, it is often best to look at averages (daily or longer) rather than at instantaneous values. That said, I'd still like to verify that there is not a problem in the model.

kind regards,

 David

Good afternoon,

I am using type 103 to model a PV panel,
However the efficiency of the array is not an input,  but could be found in the outputs. I am getting efficiency values up to 60. What does it mean ? knowing that the efficiency of PV panels is between 15 and 20 % ( from the literature).

Thank you and best regards,
Farah
