Re: [TRNSYS-users] greenhouse soil temperature

Emre,

TGROUND is an input to Type56 so like all TRNSYS inputs, it will have the value of whatever model output or equation that you connect to it and if you don't connect anything then it will have whatever initial value you have set in the Type56 proforma. The default value for all of the Type56 inputs is 0. You need to connect the appropriate boundary temperature for floor x output of Type49 to the TGROUND input in Type56. You also need to add a Type56 output of QCOMO for each floor surface and connect it to the appropriate Type49 input(s). I would recommend that you follow the SlabOnGrade.tpf example that shows how the two components are connected (if you have not already done so).

kind regards and happy new year,

 David

I modeled a greenhouse with skeetchup and imported it to trnsys. I used a controller to set up the heating point  15 °C  .   i learned this last week the program takes the soil temperature 0  °C . Because the ground_floor boundary coundition is like that 1*TGROUND . and ı couldnot connect TGROUND temperature to my greenhouse. Because I dont know how can I get  this ground temperature in my greenhouse.  I read the old mails in this site. I get this point Type 49 should be used for determining ground temperature. I read TRNSYS_Multizone_Slab_Model_Tutorial article to use type 49 correctly but i couldnt run it.    Now is there any other method to calculate my greenhouse ground temperature dynamically ?
