Re: [TRNSYS-users] How to edit the source code of the existing Component in TRNSYS 18 using typestudio

Hi,

check in the simulation list file to see from what .dll trnsys is loading type 74 . At .lst you will have messages like "The following types where loaded from xxx.dll". The name of the .dll that contains your modified type appears up right at typestudio after compiling; that is the .dll you want to be loadedwhen simulating
Not sure how you proceeded so I might be pointing wrong but it is advisible, when you modify a type, to change the number (and make sure that you don't use an already existing type number). Regards

Angel

Hello Aditi,

What Type (component) are you making changes to?

Thanks,

Dear all

I want to make some changes in the formulas mentioned in the source code of a component. I am opening the code using type studio application available in TRNSYS18. After editing, I use the option `compile workspace'.

The changes made can be seen in the code in the component in the simulation studio, but in the results, there is no change

I would like to know if there are some more steps do I have to do while editing and compiling the code.

Regards
Aditi
