Re: [TRNSYS-users] U values

Hi,

this depends on the specific type (not sure if you refer a pipe or what, and if so, which model), and often can be find in the mathematical description of the type. Regards

Hello TRNSYS-Users,

does anybody know, how TRNSYS calculates the U-values? Cause when I calculate the U-values by Hand with that Formula:

U = 1/(Rsi+d/Lambda+Rse)

Rsi,horizontal = 0,13 m²*K/W

Rse,horizontal = 0,04 m²*K/W

I get different U-values.

Which heat Transfer coefficients does TRNSYS use?

Kind regards,

Arne Hübner
