Omais, Type5 (or Type91 if it was available in
v16) would be appropriate. Heat exchangers are not categorized
by their geometry in Trnsys except as concerns the direction of
the two liquid streams (cross flow, parallel flow, etc.).
Instead the user is asked to specify either a UA or an
effectiveness for the heat exchanger. This makes the models
appropriate for flat plates or other configurations. kind regards, David
