Łukasz Active layers must be defined within certain boundaries. For instance the pipe spacing allowed within the layer depends on the thickness of the two adjacent layers. Because of this, active layers cannot be defined in isolation but must be defined at the zone level. Find the wall (floor or ceiling) that you want to make into a radiant surface and select "new" from the construction-type drop down menu. Define the layer that is adjacent to the active layer. Next, define a new layer and you'll have the ability to specify that it is an active layer. I am afraid that I do not know the answer to your question about center of mass. kind regards, David
