[TRNSYS-users] R: I: strange output for type 927

Hi Jeff,

i took your advice and i saw the trace file .lst, that i sent you annexed to this e-mail. So the type 927 seems to be off but i don’t understand why.  How can i turn it on? I know that this question seems to be stupid but is my firt project in trnsys and i can’t use very well yet.

Thanks for your help.

Best regards,

Chiara

Chiara,

If you have no heat transfer from the heat pump that means the device is off.  And if the device is off then the outlet temperature is set to the inlet temperature.  So if you’re seeing a large outlet temperature it means that you are giving the model a large inlet temperature.  I suggest you review the TRACE command in TRNSYS and use it to figure out what may be going wrong with your simulation.

Hi everyone,

i’m using type 927 to simulate a water to water heatpump. I have write the input file and i have modify the input schedule in trnsys, but ,when i run the simulation , i have strange value: for example my oulet load temperature= 1.6*10^8 and this is not normal. I have the same problem if i use the input file that trnsys give me as example with its default values.

One other problem is that the heat pump seems to be off because heat transfer to load end heat transfer from source are zero. There is a type to impose that heat pump had to be on from 8.00 am to 17.00 pm?

I really don’t understand where the problem is.

Has anyone a solution for this problem?

Thanks for your help,

Best regards,

Chiara
