Ahmad
I am not aware of such an example or tutorial. However, the principal is the same as for controlling temperature. Define a humidistat that watches the zone RH or humidity ratio then pass the humidistat's outputs to appropriate humidification/
dehumidification equipment that acts on the air stream that is introduced into the zone. kind regards,
David

Dear David
Thank you very much for the useful links. Now I know how to control the temperature of a building. Is there any example of controlling the humidity also?
Thank you

I would recommend that you download the tutorial called "Temperature Level Control from Energy Rate Control " at:
http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys/
downloads/tutorials_and_ examples/tutex17.htm
or if you are using v16
http://sel.me.wisc.edu/trnsys/
downloads/tutorials_and_ examples/tutex.htm
It will explain some of the differences between calculating a building load and simulating the performance of HVAC systems. It will also lead you through an example of converting a load computation simulation into an HVAC system simulation.
kind regards,
David

Dear Jeff
Thank you for your guiding. I have simulated my HVAC system at nominal condition, alone not using the building model. Now I'm going to use this system connected to a building. Now my question is how should I match the HVAC cooling production to the building load which is transient? should I control the temperature and humidity also or just the flow rate should be controlled to meet the load?
I couldn't find a similar example in TRNSYS examples. Could you send me an example in case of having some please?
Thank you

There are literally hundreds of ways to control the temperature and humidity in a space. I would suggest you do some reading to figure out a common HVAC system given your climate and type of building - then you can begin to replicate that system in TRNSYS.

Hello
I'm simulating a solar assisted coolig system for a building. The building cooling load is transient. so how the HVAC system should be controlled to cover the building load? I guess that the supply air temperature and humidity ratio should be constant ( a value in the comfort region ) and the air flow rate should be controlled using a variable speed fan to cover the cooling load. Is it right? any better idea?
Also I don't know how the control system should be? should I use a thermostat?
If any one can send me an example it will be very useful for me to learn
Thank you
