Javier,
I do not think you will have problems. There are two pieces to the Intel Compiler. One is the compiler itself. The other is the interface (Microsoft Visual Studio). You should find a premade Visual Studio / Intel Fortran compiler solution file (IvfCXE2011.sln) located in ..\Trnsys17\Compilers\
IvfCXE2011\. In the past when updates have come from Intel and Microsoft, the *.sln file from an older version can be opened and will be updated automatically to the new version. I highly recommend using the premade compile project (the solution) because it already has all the settings to make a new TRNDll or to make your own DLL (MyType) that is compatible with the TRNDll. kind regards,
David

Hello TRNSYS users,
I'm programming my own heat pump TRNSYS model. It's the first time for me using the fortran language and using fortran compilers. I downloaded Intel Visual Fortran 17 to recompile the TRNSYS .DLL
After I downloaded the compiler and the MS Visual Studio, I realised that the TRNSYS Documentation Programmer's guide only mentions the use of Intel Visual Fortran compiler 11.X . ¿Wil I have compatibility problems?
Sorry if my questions are too trivial, I'm just learning this.
Thanks in advance,Javier Vega Benavente
