[TRNSYS-users] FW: Question related to modelling ice storage modules with a type of trnsys

Hello list and list owners,

I have been trying to simulate an ice storage system on TrnSyS v 17, but type 207 is not available in this version. I do not have version 16 currently installed in my computer, can you please send me the specific type?

Thank you

Hello David,

Thank you for the reply. Unfortunately I only have TrnSyS17 installed in my computer.

If you or anyone else has version 16 installed can you please send the specific type to me?

Thank you in advance

Sotiris

Sotiris,
Types that were written for Trnsys16 can also be used in Trnsys17 without modification. If you used the Type in Trnsys16 you can simply move the DLL from ..\Trnsys16\UserLib\ReleaseDLLs to ..\Trnsys17\UserLib\ReleaseDLLs.
Kind regards,
  David

Dear TrnSyS users,

I need to model an ice storage system using trnsys. On the site, I can see that there is a related type in fortran code for version 16, but I cannot see a type implementing this code in 17th version of Trnsys.

Has it been removed? Do you have it available in the form of a type?

Apart from the ICE-pit of transsolar, is there any other way to model an ICE storage module?

Thank you in advance
