Re: [TRNSYS-users] Question related to modelling ice storage modules with a type of trnsys

<Apart from the ICE-pit of transsolar, is there any other way to model an ICE storage module?>

We (TESS) have a storage tank model with an idealized ice-water relationship:  isothermal tank, uniform ice building and melting (not on pipes), etc.  It's brand new and hasn't been fully documented yet, but it is available should it prove useful to your studies.

Dear TrnSyS users,

I need to model an ice storage system using trnsys. On the site, I can see that there is a related type in fortran code for version 16, but I cannot see a type implementing this code in 17th version of Trnsys.

Has it been removed? Do you have it available in the form of a type?

Apart from the ICE-pit of transsolar, is there any other way to model an ICE storage module?

Thank you in advance
