Re: [TRNSYS-users] Food storage

Bertrand,
There is a lumped capacitance model available in the TESS Loads and Structures library for that purpose (Type953). It makes the simplifying assumption that the mass (the  food that is being moved into the room in your case) can be characterized by a single temperature (in other words that there is no temperature gradient across the food)
Kind regards,
 David

Hello

I have to simulate the annual energy consumption in a cold room (area 1200 m² and 8 meters high).
This building is cooled at -4 °C and stores food. This food
regularly get in and get out.

Which type could I use to consider this food (
heat input coupled to a thermal mass) ?

Thank you

Bertrand
