Dear,
We’re also facing similar problems.
We think it’s because of:
- Window 7 environment where we are working in (64 bit)
- OR Our matlab license is put on a central server. Maybe something goes wrong to get the good license file.
If you get an answer and your problem is solved, I’ll wait for your solution. I’ll keep on searching in the mean time.
Kind regards,
Jan

Subject: Re: [TRNSYS-users] Matlab 2010a dll PROBLEM
Dear all,
Thanks! First, I tried both two examples, but they both don’t work. Second, I make sure my Matlab version is 32bit. Third, I also tried the Type 155.dll for Matlab 2009 a and b.
For Matlab 2009 a, it said "Type 155. dll" was found but could not be loaded. Please make sure that a supported version of Matlab is installed and Matlab's "bin\win32" folder is on Windows' search path.
For Matlab 2009 a, it said „ERROR: External exception C000001D...“ , and “an unexcepted error was encountered and Trnsys will abort”.
Maybe you could pass me a new *.dll of Matlab 2010a and new /Examples/Calling_Matlab/Calling Matlab.tpf or could you have other ideas about that?
Many thanks!

Dear Mr. Wang,
you should do the same stuff as you did last time when you got TRNSYS Matlab working.
I shortly summarize the possible steps to get it work.
- Please always try both matlab examples that are available in the TRNSYS17/EXAMPLES folder
- Make sure that your MATLAB Version is 32bit otherwise it can't work with TRNSYS
- Also try the Type155.dll's for Matlab 2009, we had some cases where they worked fine.

Thanks! But I did it. It still doesn’t work. It said, „ERROR: External exception C000001D...“ , and “an unexcepted error was encountered and Trnsys will abort”.
I also changed the Matlab’s search Path as bin/win32 following TRNSYS said.

Hello
You have to change the Matlab Type155.dll.
Please have a look to the TRNSYS17\EXE folder, there you'll find the Type155.dll that has to be exchanged.
The other Type155.dll that are available you'll find in the TRNSYS17\EXE\DLLS folder and you have to copy the correct one to the exe folder.
Best regards

Betreff: Matlab 2010a dll PROBLEMDear all,
There is an ERROR: Your input file uses Type155. "Type 155. dll" was found but could not be loaded. Please make sure that a supported version of Matlab is installed and Matlab's "bin\win32" folder is on Windows' search path.
How to do with it? I indeed install the Matlab 2010a. Maybe I have no access/access to visit/write/read Matlab folder or other reasons?
Many thanks!
