Re: [TRNSYS-users] Change a components parameter during the simulation

Leo,

By definition, a parameter does not change with time; constant throughout the simulation.  The only way to do what you suggest is to convert the parameter to an input in both the proforma and the source code and then rebuild the DLL.  Sorry...

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Change a components paramete! r during the simulation

Hi all,
I have an Air Handling Unit component and it has 4 modes. (no cooling,no heating; only cooling; only heating; both) I want to change from heating and colling to only cooling, so from mode 3 to mode 1 during the simulation, that the AHU doesn't heat in summer.

I simply have to change the value of my first parameter with an equation or something and it has to switch at hour 3000.
Does anyone know how that could work?

Thanks in advance!!
Leo
