Re: [TRNSYS-users] creating a dll

Andreas,
All that is meant by "routines they require" is that perhaps your Type calls some other subroutine that you have written. If that is the case, then you need to include those extra subroutines in the project.

If you have the CVF6.6 compiler, I would recommend that you add your new Type to the TRNDll workspace and project, rebuild the TRNDll (the process is the same as for adding files to an external DLL and rebuilding it). Once you have rebuilt the TRNDll in debug mode you can put breakpoints in your code and run your simulation from the CVF interface (by pressing F5). You can then step through your code one line at a time and find out where the integer overflow is occurring.
Best,
 David

Hello,

I have a problem creating my own dll with CVF 6.6. As it is written in the programmers guide in chapter 8.5.2.4 you have to add the “routines they require”. Where do I find this routines? Does anybody has an idea and can help me. I did this without these routines and my type stops with integer overflow after call -1.

Thanks for your response

Andreas
