[TRNSYS-users] Optimisation.



Hi all,

I want to find the optimal characteristics (minimising the annual energy-consumption) of the massive part of the external wall and study the influence of the insulation layer (position or/and nature) on the optimal characteristics of the massive part. My variables are the conductivity, the capacity and the density of the massive part. I'm using GenOpt2 and TRNSYS 16 for that. If I understood correctly, the calculations of heat transfer through the wall depend on the nature of the wall (if it is heavy or light) and so, they depend on the wall time base. But how to adapt this wall time base to the nature of each wall ? Is it possible to do it with GenOpt commands ?

Please, find enclosed my BUI-file. The external wall I want to optimize is called "MUREXT34" (external wall) and I search the optimal characteristics of "PARPAING" (massive part).
