Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type 71 and Type 1e

Dear Chistopher,

Not sure why that is happening. If you would like to pass along your *.tpf, I will try to take a look.

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Type 71 and Type 1e

Dear Users,

I have another problem using Solar Thermal Collectors.

Type 71 and Type 1e (Evacuated Tube Collectors and Flate Plate Collectors) show very strange behaviors. I just modelled a very easy system, including a pump and a collector using wheater data reader Type 15-2. When I run a simulation for one year, both have a lot of peeks where the fluid outlet temperatures are very high, about 5000°C. I don't think that this is realistic :)

Has someone of you already had the same problems or does anybody know where the problem is?

Thanks in advance!

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Kind regards
Christopher Haluf
