Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type 16 error

Dear Suzhen Lu,

I have a couple of suggestions. First, watch your data (on the Type65 online plotter) out of your Type9c to make sure that it is correct and makes sense. Make sure your radiation data is set to 'DO NOT INTERPOLATE' in the respective parameter in Type9c. Make sure you make the connections from the output of your TYpe9 to the inputs of Type16a, 'Time of last data read' and 'Time of next data read'. Make sure that your data is in proper TRNSYS units of kJ/hr.m^2.

Best regards,

Matt Duffy

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Type 16 error

Hello everyone,

 ***** ERROR *****        TRNSYS ERROR # 172
UNIT   8 TYPE  16 RADIATION PROCESSOR
TIME INCONSISTENCY BETWEEN WEATHER AND RADIATION PROCESSOR
BE SURE THAT THE WEATHER DATA READER OR WEATHER DATA
GENERATOR PRECEDES THIS UNIT OF TYPE 16 IN THE INPUT FILE. My timestep is set to 1 hour. I use a simple project which only includes Type9c Type16i and Type65,it can run correctly. But when Type9c and Type16i is in a project; it has comed the above error.
Any ideas?

Best regards,
Suzhen Lu
