Dimas,
The combination of Type9 (generic data reader) and Type16 (radiation processor) might offer some possibilities. Type16 has modes in which it takes total radiation on the horizontal (and temperature and humidity if you have them as well) to come up with an estimate of total radiation on a tilted surface. Since you have beam on the horizontal and not diffuse on the horizontal, I am not entirely sure what to suggest. You might refer to some of the basic texts on radiation processing such as Duffie and Beckman's Solar Engineering of Thermal Processes for some possible correlations.
Kind regards,
David

Thankyou for your suggestion Matt and Matthias,
thats very helpful, now I've got another problem,
It is said in the TRNSYS manual that "Type 109 needs two components of solar radiation (e.g. beam and diffuse horizontal) in order to calculate the radiation on a tilted surface."
But I only have one solar radiation component (Direct Beam Horizontal)
What should I do?
Thanks a lot for your help

Dear Dimas Firmanda Al Riza! You can also save the file as a *.txt from excel and now you can process the weatherdate directly with TYPE109-User.The order of the single weather values (temperature, radiation) is described in the haeder of Your weather *.txt.The rules of the haeder are described in the TRNSYS-manual 5.14.2.5 .Consider Your file must not have emtpy cells, fill them with "0" (befor exporting to excel), the decimal-seperator must be "." and not "," (likely already Your system-standard).As fas as I know the results of the TYPA109-radiation-processor are said to be better than TAPY16 (this I don't know for sure).Regards,Matthias Kersken---

Betreff: [TRNSYS-users] Raw weather data
Dear All,
I have raw weather data (in Excel, Temperature, Relative Humidity, Wind Direction, Wind Speed, Solar Radiation),
I want to use it in TRNSYS simulation (standalone PV system), how can I convert that file to standard TMY file that readable by TRNSYS 16?
anybody can help me?
Thanks a lot in advance.
