Re: [TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS 17 suggestion

Matthias,
So essentially you would like to be able to dynamically change the wall during a simulation as you can with the heating set point or internal gains? We have thought about ways to accomplish that and what is typically done is to write a model of the dynamic building component (a phase change material wall for example) and connect it to the building by calculating surface temperatures of BOUNDARY walls defined in TRNBuild/Type56.
Kind regards,
David

Dear Mr. Bradley!

What I would hope to be in the new TRNSYS 17 would be the possibility in
the building file to link very value as an Input like for example the
set-temperature of the heating or an internal gain.
I often wanted to have a dynamic calculated resistance of an airlayer or
vary the conductivity of an mass-layer.

With Kind regards,
Matthias Kersken
