Title: Help Needed with TRNSYS modeling
dear,

try setting the temperature below the boiling point of water, for example test it at 50 DC. ...
I assume it is a single phase model...

Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Help Needed with TRNSYS modeling

Hi all,

I'm new to the mail list and would like to find out if there is anyone who will be kind enough to help me with modeling using TRNSYS. I'm currently doing a DCS modeling with thermal energy storage. As part of the analysis, I am trying to create a simple model of a storage tank type531 and an online plotter type65d. Purpose of this model is to indicate and observe the thermal conduction between the nodes.

I've done the following:
1. Set the no. of tank nodes = 8, and inlet temperature of port= 100 Degree Celsius.
2. Link tank nodal temp 1-8 to plotter left axis variable 1-8.
3. Temperature at outlet to left axis variable 9.
4. Average tank temperature to left axis variable 10.

Upon running the simulation, i encounter an error msg:
TRNSYS Message 103: The TRNSYS type checking routine has found an inconsistency in the specified component between the input file and the information expected by the Type.
Reported information: An illegal PARAMETER value has been reported by the model. The model has reported that Parameter 31 is the problem - but this may not be the case. Please check the component configuration.

Can someone help me with this? Thank you.
