Re: [TRNSYS-users] external shading
Karin,
There are a number of ways to treat shading in TRNSYS and I am not sure
that I know which one you are using. By "external shading" do you mean the
field in Prebid that allows you to specify a fraction for external shading
and a fraction for internal shading? If so, then I believe that specifying
complete (opaque) external shading prevents any solar from going through
the window.
Kind regards,
David

Dear TRNSYS users,
Does TRNSYS admit any gains by the opaque surface of the external shading?
(I am using version 15 and the window external shading factor was
defined using "eshade" ).
Thanks in advance,
