Thank you for your helpful comments. In the first stage I will ignore the precipitation. Now I have a question about the parameter “ mass flow rate of fresh water ” Is it the inlet flow of the heater or not? I mean in TYPE 344, flow rate of fresh water works as the total amount of outlets and heated water works as the total amount of inlets. Am I correct? Specially thanks, Maryam From: hotline Dear Maryam, As type 344 models a fully mixed volume of water (no temperature gradient), you probably don't really need to define more than one in-/output, as the temperature everywhere would be the same. So
if you have more than one in-/output in your system, I would suggest you mix the different massflows outside of the pond model and enter the resulting total massflow through one input together. Does the overall mass of water in your pond change due to the precipitation or does it stay the same (additional water overflowing)? If
you know the amount of precipitation per hour and its temperature and the total mass in your pond stays the same, you could proceed in the same way as described above, adding the additional amount of cold water from precipitation to your overall massflow. Von: TRNSYS-users <trnsys-users-bounces@lists.onebuilding.org> im Auftrag von Maryam Khademi via TRNSYS-users <trnsys-users@lists.onebuilding.org> Hello, I selected Type 344b to simulate a pond. The problem is that I need to consider precipitations and also this pond have two outlets and two inlets and this type doesn’t have the ability of define inlets and outlets.
What is your suggestion for me in this regard?
