Re: [TRNSYS-users] Simulation of a "hollow ventilated wall"

Hi David,

Thank you for getting back to me. Maybe I was not clear enough in my explanations. Please see the attached photo to find out what I mean when I say "Hollow Ventilated Wall". In this image, as you can see, the air circulates through the connected holes in masonry blocks inside the wall.

Thank you.
Mohammad

Mohammad,

There is an individual TESS component available (Type1230). You can get a little more information from: http://trnsys.com/tess-libraries/individual-components.php.html

If you have specific questions, I'd be happy to try and answer them.

kind regards,

 David

Hi all,

I want to model a hollow ventilated wall (e.g. hollow masonry block wall). Holes are connected together and warm/cold air circulates through the holes for space heating/cooling purposes.

Since now, I could not find any software/tool to model this system.
I appreciated your help if you know TRNSYS (or any other tools) can simulate this system.

Best,
Mohammad
