Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type519a

Hi, Yoon-sensei,

I tried to use Type519 and found all the same error you said. I
suppose that the Japanese code like Shift-JIS in our PCs may cause the
problem.
Scheduler.exe connected with Type519 uses Microsoft Outlook formatted
file (*.hol) and it seems to make the error. MultSched.exe working
with Type516 doesn't use Outlook file and makes no problem.
unfortunately, this kinds of trouble is very familiar to me. you
should avoid to use Type519 or tried to use other PC with
English-based OS at the moment.

needless to say, if TESS can change using Scheduler.exe in Type519 to
MultSched.exe is the most desirable solution. thank you, David!

Best regard,
Mika

I think the problem has to do with some system files used by the plugin that get coopted by other system resources. Reinstalling seems to reassociate those files with the plugin again.
