Re: [TRNSYS-users] Schedule for days, weeks and months

Dear Dr. David;
Thank you so much for your reply. I finally found a way but still does not work for the cooling condition. I made seasonally and hourly forcing files and connected them as an input file to my building (as you mentions in this email also). But unfortunately for cooling give the error of division by zero...
Another way is using an excel file but again in the cooling does not work and I think it is because of the zeros in the days, weekends, and no airconditioning seasons.

Dr Bina,

  If you have access to the TESS Applications Library, you can define such schedules using the Types in that library. In TRNBuild you will need to select that the schedule values will come from INPUTS instead of from SCHEDULES that are defined inside TRNBuild.

best,

Hello dear TRNSYS users;

I have a question regarding the schedule for heating and cooling:
Firstly, I want to calculate the heating and cooling loads using the energy balance method (just on the heating the cooling buttons) based on the following time table:
For weekdays from 8 to 18 (either cooling or heating);
For the weekends off (either cooling or heating);
From Nov. to April "Heating";
From Jul. to Sep. "Cooling".
Secondly, I would like to use this schedule and also thermostat (either schedule or zone temperature is 1 for heating or cooling) to command the airconditioning system that I will add later.

And another issue, which is not important now, on weekdays later I want to use complex timing (8 to 18 full occupancy and other hours ratio of office workers).
