[TRNSYS-users] Generating random number using Type578

Dear colleagues,

    I would like to model gaussian noise - white noise - using model Type578, which is supposed to generate normally distributed random numbers given a seed. However, when examining the output of model Type578, what is get is a periodic triangle signal.  Is there a way to get noise-like signal in TRNSYS?
