Re: [TRNSYS-users] About scheduling and type 56 outputs

Hüseyin,

If you are allowing the temperature of the space to float then there are no energy demands on the space. If you set a heating and/or cooling set point temperature such that the temperature of the space is limited and will not fall below the heating set point or rise above the cooling set point then you will start to see energy demands: the energy required to maintain the space between the bounds that you have defined.

kind regards,

 David

Dear Jeff,

Hi again. Currently it is working. I defined the Number of profiles for each day to be 2 in the parameter part of the type 41. Then, it has stated to operate between specified points.

That was the key part. Thanks for your help.

I have an other question about my Project for type 56 building model. Although everthing seem to be normal for airnodes such as temperature, relative humidity, the sensible and latent energy demands of the airnodes (the outputs of type 56) equals to always zero. Should I define something special here? Do you or does anyone have an idea about this case ?

Thanks in advance.

Dear Jeff,

Thanks for your help. However, type 922c operates always on althogh I defined the types 14 and 41 together with the type 108 signals outputs by using an equation. Than, I connected them to conditioning signals of each 5 stages.

Can it be beacuse of proforma definition for type 41?

Regards,

If the control signal to the equipment is a function of both time of day/ year and a thermostat then the input should reflect that.  Use an equation and multiply the on/off signal from your forcing function by the on/off signal from your thermostat.  Then use that value (only on when both are satisfied) as the inputs to fans, pumps, equipment etc.

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all doing well and healthy.

I am modeling a PV powered air conditioner unit with back up system. My model cuurently operates. However, I am also planing to switch off the air conditioner between 18:00 to 08:00 on weekdays and also at the weekends.

I tried to use type 14 (weekdays and weekend defination) with type 41 (whole week). But I could not find the connection for output of type 41, namely forcing function output for current day. I suppose that they have to be connected to fan control signal, mass flow rate or conditioning signals. But they are all connected to other models like building and termostat.

Can you please help me on this issue?

Best regards.
