Dear All, All my problems connected to heat balance of partition and wall was caused by very simple and stupide reason: when data was imported to Excel I choose constant width of columns in the original text file (from TRNSYS), instead of column separation by specific sing, e.g. “space”. As a result, in some rows of my data in Excel, “-“ was assigned to wrong column: to the end of previous balance component value instead to the beginning of right balance component value (so “-“ was replaced by “+”). Thank you very much Marion and TESS for support! Kind regards, From: Marion Hiller [mailto:Hiller@Transsolar.com] Karol, for surface outputs including balance 906 “inside” relates to the face of the surface facing towards the selected zone. Front/Back is used to assign the construction correctly only. The equation components, among others, are heat fluxes on outside and on inside surface of the wall. When exterior wall is consider I assume that outside surface=exterior surface. But in the case of interior wall which surface is outside and which inside? It depend on front/back setting or zone for which balance of the wall has been set? Looking on results it seems to me that it is set randomly… Kind regards, -------------------------------------------------------------------- Karol BANDURSKI M. Sc.
