Thanks for your advice regarding my problem. I have now managed to trace the error to a specific component or group of components, and the simulation runs without crashing when I turn them off. I still have to find what is wrong with those components, but it's easier when you know where to look.

Dear Knut.

My experience is that the most possible causes of so many warnings are
due to inappropriate fluid mass flowrates and/or insufficient thermal
capacitances in the fluid streams.  You may trace the problems in these
directions.
