Dr Redpath, That message usually comes if there is a difference between the
units of an output and the units of the input that you're trying
to connect to. Please bear in mind that if you change the units of
an input, TRNSYS does not perform any kind of automatic unit
conversion; it still expects that you will provide the input value
in the default units that it expects. I tried to join two Type592s in series and did not have a
problem connecting the outlet steam state of one to the inlet
steam state of the other. I left all input and output units
untouched. If the above does not help, please contact your distributor for some assistance and send them the project as well as a detailed description of how to repeat the issue. If you aren't sure who to contact, please send me an email directly. kind regards, David
