Hello everyone,
i have the following problem with TRNEdit.
I got an existing TRNSYS file from a colleague with all the
necessary input files.
If i open it in TRNSYS, it runs without problems, and it takes
about 30 secs to run and generates an xls output file where i
collect the relevant parameters i want to extract from the
simulation.
If i open the dck file in TRNEdit and run it from TRNSYS->
Calculate, it runs as well.
If i set at a parametric table (even if it is very simple, like
2 runs, where i just change 1 parameter), and then i "Run the
table", it seems to run as the grey boxes identifying which
scenarios is being calculated appear, but they last about 1
second per run (while the actual run should take about 30 secs)
and at the end of the table, there is no xls output file.
>From the generated LST files, it says
"
*** Fatal Error at time : 0.000000
Generated by Unit : Not applicable or not available
Generated by Type : Not applicable or not available
TRNSYS Message 350 : Unable to open the file
associated with an ASSIGNED logical unit number. Please check
the ASSIGN statement and make sure that the file exists at the
specified location
Reported information : Logical Unit = 53,
FileName = INPUTDATA\INPUT_FILE_FLEXYNETS_1GWH_YR_ROME.TXT"
But i dont understand where the problem is, as the file exists,
in the right location and in fact it is found by TRNEdit when
the model is run WITHOUT the parametric table.
Does anyone have a suggestion for this?
Thanks in advance and best regards,
Federico
