Hi David,
I have performed all three suggestions and am still encountering the same error. Any chance you have any further suggestions?
Thank you for your help, by the way.
Cheers,
Keelia

The only three other items might be to:
1. make sure that there are not more than one reference to Matlab installations in the path environment variable 2. make sure that both your user account and the SYSTEM user account (built in to Windows) both have full read/write access to the Trnsys and Matlab directories. 3. make sure that neither Trnsys nor Matlab is installed in the .\Program Files\ directory. That directory has a lot of read/write restrictions that pertain even to admin user accounts
kind regards, David
