TRNSYS only calls equations/constants if the constituent values change. So if A = B + C, A is only re-evaluated if B or C change. That's been true from version 16 on.

Hi David and/or Jeff,
I am now putting some constants followed by other constants defined by equations in the head of a *.dck file, but find it runs painfully slow.
Is there a way to ensure these are assessed once at the beginning of a simulation and are not assessed again?
