Jiyun,
The steam boiler component can be used to heat water to a known condition (given capacity restraints) and then acts like a superheater or evaporator - or both.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for your reply. The Type591C can be run correctly. I have another question about this TESS Library.
I have another question about this library. I found that the modules of this TESS Library for simulating steam generator (Type637) and superheater (Type617) are steam heating steam system. Is this TESS library can be used to simulate the component of a coal fired boiler (e.g. superheater, evaporator)?

Jiyun Qin -
You can download the update dlls at
http://www.tess-inc.com/site-com/assets/filedownloads/TESSCogenLibrary.zip
You will need to place the dlls in the appropriate TRNSYS17/UserLib/DebugDLLS and /ReleaseDLLs directories. You should also delete the older Cogen library Dlls.

Tim

As was answered on the TRNSYS user list, there is an issue with Type591 in the TESS CHP Library. Please send us your user id file so we can access your TRNSYS records.

Dear Someone,
I use the CHP library to develop a model for Rankine cycle power plant. I use the Type 591C to simulate the high pressure stage turbine firstly. This HP stage turbine has two extraction steam, with extraction pressure at 54.41 and 34.62 bar, and the inlet pressure and temperature of this turbine is 167 bar and 537 C. When I put the paramaters of this turbine as the input into the Input sheet of this module, there is a mistake when I run this module. It shows that
"TRNSYS Message 127: The current Unit has tried to access an Input value higher than the number of outputs for the Type. Reported information: Not available".
This is no mistakes for the paramapers of steam turbine. What's the problem of my model? The attachment is the model.
Looking fordward for your feedback.
Best Regards,
Jiyun Qin
