Re: [TRNSYS-users] Zero Thermal efficiency

Jibi

A zero thermal efficiency results at any time that the collector cannot produce any useful thermal energy. Efficiency is defined in Type563's case as the energy produced divided by the energy input (mainly indicent solar). If the collector is not producing any useful thermal energy (because the sun is down) then the efficiency is zero.

kind regards,

 David

Dear all,
I used a type 563 PVT tool for my simple simulation.
What would be the possible reason for a zero thermal efficiency output in the attached program file?
Please have a look.
Thanks
