Re: [TRNSYS-users] TRNSYS-users Digest, Vol 158, Issue 27

Arjun,

Make sure you have the compressor "On" signal set and the desired outlet pressure greater than the inlet pressure.  If both are correctly set then please send me your project and I'll take a look.

Dear Jeff,

I also tried to use simple sinusoidal equations just as available in the example but again the outlet and inlet temperatures are coinciding, please find the attached screenshot.

Thanks & Regards

Arjun,

I just ran a simple example that provides a sinusoidal temperature inlet to Type 630 and got a sinusoidal outlet temperature (Trnsys v17.2).  See attached.  Check your equations to make sure you set them correctly.  If you are convinced you have it right, plot the inlet and outlet temperatures and send your project to your distributor.  Which version are you using?

Dear All,

I am not able to get the variation of outlet temperature from Type 630 Air Compressor, however I have supplied the ambient temperature of my location as input to the Type 630 using Type 15-6 weather input file.

I am getting the same temperature after the compression of air. This is technically not correct. Please can anyone help me to resolve the problem.??

Please find the screenshot of my Trnsys project.
