Re: [TRNSYS-users] REGARDING REFRIGERANT INFORMATION

Prof  Sodha,

The absorption chiller models in TRNSYS are performance map models. They read capacity and COP as a function of the inlet and ambient conditions to which the chiller is subject at any given time. As such the type of refrigerant is built into the performance map. If there were a way that you could experimentally measure data and generate a performance map for the same chiller using two different refrigerants then you could use those two different performance maps in simulation to see the impact of changing the refrigerant.

kind regards,

 David

DEAR SIR/MA'AM,

HOW TO GET INFORMATION ABOUT REFRIGERANT USED IN ABSORPTION CHILLER FOR EACH ? LIKE WHICH REFRIGERANT AND RELATED PARAMETER ?
MOST IMPORTANT HOW TO CHANGE THE REFRIGERANT IN CHILLERS...? IS IT POSSIBLE ?
