Prof Sodha, The absorption chiller models in TRNSYS are performance map
models. They read capacity and COP as a function of the inlet and
ambient conditions to which the chiller is subject at any given
time. As such the type of refrigerant is built into the
performance map. If there were a way that you could experimentally
measure data and generate a performance map for the same chiller
using two different refrigerants then you could use those two
different performance maps in simulation to see the impact of
changing the refrigerant. kind regards, David
