Dear TRNSYS-users, I have a problem with one of our models that was created under TRNSYS 16. I gave it to a colleague in Italy using TRNSYS 18 (32 Bit). When she is starting the simulation, she is getting the following error: “TRNSYS Message 313: The TRNSYS version number specified in the input file is either missing or does not match the TRNSYS source code number.” The type was written in the TRNSYS 16 coding standard. Could there be a problem with 16 models no more running under 18? According to the Programmers Guide chapter 7.5.5. “There are no required changes that a user must
make to components that were written in the TRNSYS 16 coding standard in order for them to work the same in TRNSYS 17” and chapter 7.5.6 “There are no changes required to move a component from the TRNSYS 17.x Type coding standard to the TRNSYS 18.x Type coding
standard.” So I thought that the model should work under TRNSYS 18. Is that correct? Any help would be appreciated. Kind regards, Andreas --- Andreas Heinz DI (FH) Dr. techn.
