Re: [TRNSYS-users] specify layers

Ahmad,

Components (as opposed to connection lines) are associated with layers. I suppose that you could define a layer for each component in your system using the File: Settings: Project menu item. However, I suspect that layer management would become burdensome. I would suggest that you put all your output devices on one layer and perhaps define water loop, air loop, controls, and weather/schedules layers. I have found that I can make highly complex simulations quite understandable by right clicking on links and assigning a particular color and line style to either a certain kind of link (weather data, control signals, scheduled values) or to loops within the system.

kind regards,

 David

Hi

I have simulated a complex system with many lines and components. How could I specify a layer for each line to make my simulation easy to wrk ?

Thank you
