Re: [TRNSYS-users] Type 51: cooling tower

Massimo,

Unfortunately there is not a way of doing that in the current TRNSYS version. It is a feature that we've added to the cooling tower for v18. In the current version, you'd need to implement an external controller model to determine the fan speed that you want to run and then pass that value to the tower model.

kind regards,

 David

Good afternoon to all

I would like to ask you about the use of type 51: is it possible that the type set itself the “relative fan speed” in function of the wet bulb temperature.

In other words I would know if the type could set it automatically in “+1” (forced ventilation) if is necessary and keep it set on “-1” (natural ventilation) in the other cases.

Kind regards

Massimo Truant
