Re: [TRNSYS-users] Equation Problem

Hsein,

 Without seeing the project file it is not really possible to know what the problem might be. The problem might not be P_LOAD; you might look at how the other variables (Q_heating, Q_DHW, Q_cooling, m_H2, and LHV) are defined. If there are not connections to those variables or if those variables are not defined in other equations then you'd get the attached error.

kind regards,

 David

Hi everyone,

I am trying to calculate the following equation:

Eff_energy = (P_net+Q_heating+Q_DHW+Q_cooling)/(Max(0.000001,m_H2)*LHV)

I made a link between P_load (which is being calculated in different equation) and P_net, but I am still getting this problem:

TRNSYS Message     20 : The referenced variable used in this equation has not been defined in the TRNSYS input file. The equation begins with the string in "reported information"
Reported information  : EFF_ENERGY = (P_LOAD

In fact I supposed another equation : kkkk = P_load and it gave me the output correctly without any problems, so I am wondering what is the problem!!!

Please HELP!!! Any hint would be appreciated...
