Ware, The example is intended to show you some ways of using Type42; it is not a very good example of a realistic device heating a tank. If you add the output of the controller to the online plot so that you can see the Type42 "heat pump" control signal you'll notice that the heat pump is on continuously through the length of the simulation; it does not have enough capacity to return the tank to its set point temperature.
