Subject: [TRNSYS-users] Conversion of epw weather files to tm2 format
Dear All,

For some of the locations I don't have the .tm2 weather files which is usually imported in type 56-multizone building before starting a new project. But I have epw files for these locations.

Can anyone please suggest me some ways to convert these epw files to tm2 in TRNSYS or any other platform ?

Is it possible to import and use  epw weather files in a new project of type 56 in TRNSYS 17 ?

Thanks in advance,

Dear Niket,

What I usually do, is to use the conversion tool included in EnergyPlus. You can download this software and use the tool I mentioned.

Andrés

Niket Kumar -

There is no need to convert the file.  Simply use the epw mode for the Type 15 weather reader - it can read the file directly without any conversion.

Tim

Dear all,

I can't find the data files for the External Files assignment of Type 20 in Tess Library.
Someone know where I can find them?

Thanks,
