Hi Mattias, There is a MS DOS command available doing this:
http://www.computerhope.com/shutdown.htm Thus if you just start your simulation with a batch file you can include also a shutdown: The batch file would look this (or something in this direction): C:\TRNSYS17\Exe TRNExe.exe D:\MyProject\simulation1\sim01.dck \n shutdown /s So, this is what I would try. Actually I did not test it :-/ cu Hermann. _______________________________________________________________ Von: TRNSYS-users [mailto:trnsys-users-bounces@lists.onebuilding.org]
Im Auftrag von Mattias Ericsson Dear TRNSYS users! I am running standalone simulations on a virtual computer for which I pay a fee for every hour of runtime. I would like to have the computer shut off once the simulation is finished so I don’t have to pay for unnecessary
hours if I start a simulation in the evening that finishes in the middle of the night.
I am creating distributable applications which I run on this virtual computer.
