Re: [TRNSYS-users] Airnode - What does it mean in TRNsys?

Idris,
Airnodes are discussed in section 5.2.4.10. of the 05-MultizoneBuilding reference manual. The basic idea is that an airnode is an area of the building that can be characterized by a single air temperature. In past versions of TRNSYS airnodes and building zones meant more or less the same thing. With the release of Trnsys17, you can now define a radiation zone that may include more than one air node (for example to account for thermal stratification within an atrium)
regards,
 David
