 If you are using the latest release (17.2) then there is an example that you can start with located in ..\Trnsys17\Examples\PVT\PVT.tpf. You can replace the use of the PVT collector with a simpler PV.

A fellow graduate student and I have started working with TRNSYS17 to plot the charging of a battery (type 47c) using a PV module (type 94a), an inverter (48b), and available weather data. Our model is able to run and provide data, but we've run into some problems (involving the battery charging at night time). Has anyone built a similar system that we could take a look at and use as a guide?
