Re: [TRNSYS-users] Creat new component

Alobaid,
The compiler project settings are a very important part of writing a new component. The answer to your question depends somewhat on whose Fortran compiler you are using. If you have access to the Intel Fortran compiler that plugs into Microsoft Visual Studio then there are projects with correct settings already available to you in the ..\Trnsys17\Compilers\ directory. If you are using a different Fortran compiler then you are going to need to figure out how to make those same settings in your compiler. If you want a comprehensive list of the settings, please let me know and I can send them to you. You will probably have a great deal of work ahead of you to figure out how to make those same settings in the compiler that you are using but it may be a place to start.
Best,
 David

Hi every one,

I want to ask about creating new component in Trnsys17. I already installed  Fortran 95 and when I follow the procedures, I can’t find type201.dll.  I think there is an error in the link between Trnsys and the new component’s file. Could you please help in this.

Many Thanks

Alobaid
